Any changes between her original and what you see during this challenge is on me. I don’t own Island Living and the game removed or replaced various objects.
DAY 1: Sunday 8:00 am
Current weather: Thunderstorm and Warm
Everybody heads inside and poor Doodle hides under a bed.
8:29 am: Tyler shouts forbidden words for -2 points.
Immediately followed by Alisha for -2 points.
8:31 am: Heather shouts forbidden words for -2 points and Josephine is shocked by it.
But not too upset as she lets out a few choice words of her own. Josephine gets -2 points AND so does Brooks (in the background).
8:35 am: Darrell has a foul mouth too. -2 points.
He then picks up a book from the dining table and puts it away. +1 point.
Darrell puts away another book and earns +1 point.
8:57 am: Josephine decides putting the book she’s reading away is a good idea. +1 point.
Poor Doodle is in hiding again! This storm is so scary to the pup.
Josephine reads and puts her book away. +1 point.
If you look closely, you can see Doodle’s nose. Poor thing! This storm doesn’t appear to be ending anytime soon.
9:42 am: Darrell reads and puts another book away. +1 point. (first sim to have a positive number, 1 ); in the background, Doodle came out of hiding and approached Heather.
Darrell is going around the house, collecting books to put away. +1 point. He isn’t Neat (Bro, Music Lover, Ambitious).
Tsk tsk, Josephine. -2 points.
The Welcome Wagon models hugging in the hopes that someone in this house will follow suit and earn some points!
Darrell thought he could sneak a foul word or two but Heather’s reaction brought it to our attention. -2 points.
Alisha puts away a book. +1 point.
Granted this was after she trolled teh forums for the longest time (Has both Mean and Evil traits).
Heather ate fruitcake and LIKED it (yuck!) then washed her dish. +1 point.
What must the Welcome Wagon think of their neighbors? Josephine shouted forbidden words while Darrell listened to Tyler complaining about the thunderstorm & seemed to be encouraging her. -2 points for Josephine.
Alisha ignores the words peppering the air and puts away a book. +1 point.
While the sims chat, Alisha puts away another book. +1 point. (She is currently in the lead with ONE POINT, lol)
Alisha collects Brent Hecking’s plate to wash. +1 point.
Josephine hugs Doodle. +4 points.
Heather washes Tyler’s plate. +1 point.
Alisha puts a book away. +1 point.
Too close for comfort!
While playing this evening, I have a thunderstorm outside too. No strikes close by but the strikes can easily be seen and several fill my window with their brightness.
Heh heh, too slow Alisha. Tyler grabs Brant Hecking’s plate to clean. +1 point.
Thought this was interesting. Tyler is talking about the thunderstorm yet it gives Josephine fishing information on the perch.
Alisha collected plates from Darrell (he picked up Heather’s plate and set it down) and Brooks to wash. Two plates = +2 points.
So much for that advantage! -2 points.
Alisha collected Tyler’s plate and the fruitcake platter. 2 plates = +2 points.
Virginia washed her dish in the bathroom since Alisha blocked access to the kitchen sink. +1 point.
Welcome Wagon ends at 3:26 pm. Goodness, that seemed like a long one!
Tyler hugs Doodle. +4 points.
Darrell put a book away. +1 point.
But ruined it by a few choice words. -2 points.
Virginia puts a book away. +1 point.
Then she put away Brooks’ book. +1 point.
Brooks then put away Darrell’s book. +1 point.
Heather put away Doodle’s ball. +1 point.
Language! -2 points.
Alisha washes her bowl (after eating chips) while Josephine grabs cheese crackers. +1 point for Alisha.
Darrell, tsk tsk … you are the one who wanted to watch that Culinary Training Video. Such language! -2 points.
Poor Doodle really has to go but that doesn’t mean we don’t see Alisha shouting forbidden words in the background. -2 points.
Lightning sure loves the bushes at this house!
Another angle of the same strike.
Josephine sits for a few minutes before deciding it’s best to clean her own bowl. +1 point.
Another tidbit learned while talking with Brooks.
Look! Darrell has begun making BLT. Points will be determined at end of the process.
I admit I got a little nervous thinking he might cause a fire due to not having any skills in Cooking.
Guess Virginia is airing her concerns too. -2 points.
I forgot that sims don’t actually cook the bacon but since it is a “cook” action, he gets the +2 points.
Tyler braves the storm to shape the bonsai. Important task, right?! She gains Flower Arranging & Gardening Skills. Two-for-one!!
Josephine puts her book away. +1 point.
Then claims one of the double beds.
Virginia gets a single bed.
Brooks collects & washes Darrell’s plate. +1 point. “You snooze (sit there), you lose (the point)!”
Darrell nabs a nap on the other double bed.
Tyler is a perfectionist but this is taking things a bit too far! -2 points.
Heather waited too long to claim a couch for nap time.
But good things can come to those who wait!
Poor Alisha! All that is left is this bench on the porch … while the all-day thunderstorm still rages on.
MIDNIGHT
